Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Crown Hill Mausoleum Chapel in Indianapolis for Harold H. Dice, 67, a former resident of Veedersburg, Ind., and retired General Motors vice president and general manager of Allison Division (Now Detroit Diesel Allison) in Indianapolis. He died Tuesday morning (June 26, 1973) in a Charlottesville, Va., hospital where he was admitted Monday after a cerebral hemorrhage. Friends will be received from 8-9:30 Friday at the Flanner & Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary in Indianapolis. The family has requested any memorial be in the form of contributions to the Methodist Hospital Foundation in Indianapolis. Mr. Dice, a resident of Warm Springs, Va., since his retirement in 1967, was a native of Veedersburg and a graduate of the University of Illinois. Mr. Dice began his 37 year General Motors career in 1930 wit the Delco-Remy Division at Muncie, Ind. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eva Marie Dice of Warm Springs; his step- mother, Mrs. Robert Dice, and a step-sister, Mrs. Donald Strawser, both of Indianapolis; a brother, Clarence Dice , and a nephew, Robert, both of Brighton, Ontario, Canada.

Harold Dice, 67, retired Allison executive who was born and reared at Veedersburg, died Tuesday in a Charlottesville, Va. hospital after suffering a massive cerebral hemorrhage. Mr. Dice was a vice president and general manager of Allison Division of General Motors at Indianapolis at the time of his retirement in 1967. He was employed by General Motors from 1929 until his retirement. He was born Oct. 21, 1905, the son of Robert and Sue Henderson Dice. He was graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1925 and from the University of Illinois in 1929. Mr. Dice was married in November 1929 to Marie Cook, who survives. Also surviving are a brother, Clarence of Codrington, Ont., his step mother, Mrs. Frances Dice of Veedersburg; an aunt Mrs. Lena Reed of Veedersburg, and a nephew. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister who died at birth. Friends may call at the Flanner and Buchanna Broadripple Mortuary in Indianapolis from 8 to 9:30 p. m. Friday.
